MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - Two men have pleaded guilty in Mobile
federal court to allegations that they made several trips to
Thailand to have sex with young boys.
Prosecutors said 44-year-old Lee Burgess of Mobile, and 31-year-old Mitchell Kent Jackson, a former Mobile resident now living in Pensacola, Fla., pleaded guilty Thursday to traveling to have sex with a minor and conspiracy to do so.
At sentencing, they face more than 10 years in prison.
Prosecutors say the two men have agreed to cooperate with an ongoing investigation into "sex tourism" in hopes of winning
Court records indicate the men ran a Web site together called boyhoodparadise.com, where they met a New Jersey man who set up the trips to Thailand from 2000 to 2002.
