MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Alabama's Supreme Court race is too
close to call. Republican Greg Shaw holds a 7,300-vote lead over
Democrat Deborach Bell Paseur with 94 percent of the precincts
reporting. But it will take the remaining votes to decide the race.

Republicans swept Alabama's other three appellate court races.

Republican incumbent Bill Thompson was re-elected to the Court
of Civil Appeals.

Republicans Beth Kellum and Mary Windom won open seats on the Court of Criminal Appeals.'

That means the civil and criminal appeals courts will remain
all-Republican.
