MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - The Homeland security director of Alabama has been elected by his colleagues to a national leadership position.
The Governors Homeland Security Advisors Council has elected Jim
Walker to its Executive Leadership Council.
Walker is the only elected member from a Southern state.
