DOTHAN, Ala. (AP) - Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney plans
to visit Dothan Thursday to campaign for congressional candidate
Jay Love.

Romney, who made an unsuccessful bid for the Republican nomination for president, will join Love at the Five Star Credit Union in downtown Dothan around 1 p.m. to meet with voters.

A private fundraiser is also scheduled.

Romney, 61, suspended his presidential campaign on Feb. 7, just
after the Super Tuesday primaries.

Before arriving in Dothan, Romney was scheduled to attend a
Thursday morning breakfast fundraiser in New Orleans for Louisiana
state Senator Bill Cassidy, who is trying to win a Congressional
seat that Democrat Don Cazayoux (Kaz' zhoo) won earlier this year
after Richard Baker stepped down.
