MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - A Montgomery County teacher described as dedicated was named the winner of 25-thousand dollars from the Milken Family Foundation National Educator Award.
At a school assembly Wednesday, State School Superintendent Joe Morton presented the award to Stephanie Glover, a math coach at T.S. Morris Elementary School.
Glover was the only recipient in Alabama. She is among 100 educators across the nation to the receive the prestigious honor this year.
