The two, 36-year-old John Bradley Limes and 35-year-old Leslie Lea King, are charged with murder during robbery in connection with the death of 59-year-old Kathlene Lucile Landino.
Landino was found dead Nov. 23 by her son in their home.
Authorities say she had suffered head trauma.
The home was filled with gas fumes, although it wasn't clear how the leak started.
In court documents, prosecutors allege that Limes and King attempted to steal a purse, laptop, cell phone, 12-gauge shotgun,
security box and several DVD's belonging to Landino.
King is the estranged wife of Landinos son.
