2 Dothan Residents Arrested on Burglary Charges

The Dothan Police Department has recently made two felony arrests and expect at least on more to be forthcoming following a recent investigation into a burglary. On June 3, 2012, police responded to a residence in the 700 block of Arlington Avenue and learned an adult female was present when suspects forced entry into the residence. The woman said she was sleeping when two black males forced entry into the home. One of the men punched the woman and made her sit down after which the suspects stole electronics and then fled in an awaiting vehicle. Investigators say the man who struck the victim along with the get away driver have now been identified and arrested. Police say the second burglar, described as a black male, is wanted and are asking anyone with information about the case or identity of the suspect to call the Dothan Police Department or CrimeStoppers 334-793-7000.

•Johnny Charles Cummings, black male, 28 years of age, of Tacoma Street was arrested on June 8, 2012 and charged with First Degree Burglary with a $250,000 bond.

•Tatianna Turner, black female, 21 years of age, of Greentree Street was arrested on June 7, 2012 and charged with First Degree Burglary with a $250,000 bond.
