Attorney General Troy King has announced the conviction of a woman in the Dale County circuit court for welfare fraud.
Celestine Shipmon of Ozark plead guilty on September 9 to second degree theft of property in the amount of one thousand one hundred fifty five dollars.
She was sentenced as a habitual offender for two years.
The sentence was suspended, and the defendant applied for probation.
