Alabama's top university lobbyists draw six figure salaries

The top lobbyists for Alabama's largest universities draw six-figure salaries.

The Huntsville Times reports that Auburn University lobbyist
Sherri Fulford recently got a 50 percent raise that boosted her
annual salary from $120,000 to $180,000.

University of Alabama lobbyist William Jones makes more than
$202,000 annually.

Two other Alabama lobbyists, Gary Smith and Porter Banister, make more than $180,000 each.

Fulford's husband, William "Happy" Fulford, lobbies for the University of South Alabama, where he receives nearly $196,000 annually.

    You have to be a high paid lobbyist to afford to send your kids to college. One book costs 182.00 at Troy U. College is the great rip off of the middle class
