22 Arrested at House Party For Violating Liquor Laws

MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - Mobile police say 22 people were arrested at a weekend house party - all were charged with violating state liquor laws.

Officers, acting on a tip, raided the party Saturday night at a house on Ching Dairy Road Loop South.

The arrest made included 19 juveniles who were cited for being a minor in possession of alcohol; three 18-year-olds were charged with being under the influence of alcohol.

The juveniles were taken to the Strickland Youth Center. The others were placed in the county metro jail.

    This is a stupid law which should be ignored and violated every day and the stupid coward cops that pin hero badges on themsleves for enforcing this crock of gibberish would best serve their community by finding themselves honest paying jobs. Hell, I enlisted in the USMC when I was 17 and no adult stopped me from firing the rifle on the rifle range or prohibited me from drinking alcohol.
