Madison reports rash of daytime burglaries

MADISON, Ala. (AP) - Madison police are investigating a rash of
daytime burglaries that have spread throughout the city.

The Madison Homeowners Association Network told police that 19
home break-ins were reported during August and most occurred during
the day when residents weren't at home.

Police said the public can help by reporting sightings of
unrecognized vehicles or those which appear out-of-place.
