ARDMORE, Ala. (AP) - A driver was killed and three horse riders were injured in an overnight wreck in north Alabama.
Alabama state troopers said two horses died and a third was injured.
The wreck occurred just after 9 p.m. Sunday on Lambert Road, about a mile south of Ardmore.
Investigators said the driver collided with three horses, crossed a ditch and hit a house.
Troopers said two riders were seriously injured and were taken to Huntsville Hospital. A third rider also was hurt.
Their names and the nature of their injuries was not immediately known.
Troopers withheld the deceased driver's name, but said his vehicle had a Limestone County tag.
