13 Arrested While Protesting Alabama's Immigration Law

Thirteen people have been arrested in Montgomery for protesting Alabama's immigration law.

About 100 people took part in a protest at the state house and capitol building. The demonstrators were mostly Hispanic and university-aged.

They first marched around the capitol and then headed to the state house.

Eleven were sitting down on a street when police approached and warned them in English and Spanish that they would be arrested if they didn't move. When they didn't move, they were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

Two others were arrested later inside the state house.
