Police Search for Ala. Stabbing Suspect

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - Jefferson County authorities are searching for a Birmingham man charged in a weekend stabbing death at a birthday party.

Jefferson County Chief Deputy Randy Christian said Monday that 28-year-old David Owens Jr. did not know the victim. He also said there was no sign of a confrontation that led to the stabbing of Owen Williams Jr.

Witnesses said Owens was acting paranoid before the stabbing.
