DECATUR, Ala. (AP) - Decatur police say 81-year-old Larry Gene Thurman, who died after he set off a bomb at an apartment building,
died of smoke inhalation.

Decatur police Lt. Jonathan Green says the blast Monday night may have knocked Thurman unconscious, but an autopsy shows he was
still breathing after the explosion.

A federal agent says Thurman had accumulated enough explosive chemicals to bring down the building.

Thurman was the lone casualty from the blast.
