ATHENS, Ala. (AP) - Athens police have charged a cashier accused
of taking a man's debit card out of the trash and giving it to another man to use.
Police charged Calista Green with illegal possession and use of a debit card. Police did not give the name of the store where she works.
Police also charged Chadrick Malone with the same thing.
The victim tells police he was cleaning his car when he found an old debit card and decided to throw it away. The man took the debit card and some trash he had collected from inside his car into a nearby store and asked Green to throw it away.
Green is accused of giving the card to Malone who is accused of using the card several times. The victim reported the charges to police.
