HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) - A 26-year-old man accused of killing two teens in a Huntsville car crash last year pleaded guilty to murder.
Judge Dennis O'Dell sentenced Felix Ortega to 15 years in jail on Monday as part of a plea agreement.
The charges stem from the April 17, 2009, deaths of 16-year-old Grissom High School sophomore Leigh Anna Jimmerson and 19-year-old Tad Mattle, a 2008 Grissom graduate.
Prosecutors say Ortega had a blood alcohol level more than three times the legal limit at the time of the crash.
