After a year and a half the Rotary Miracle Playground opened to the public.
Hundreds celebrated the final milestone of this state-of-the-art playground.
The playground is the brainchild of both the Dothan Rotary and Houston County Rotary clubs.
The park cost more than $600,000 to build yet organizers raised that majority of the funds in less than a year.
"Our community came together because they wanted to see a playground built where all kids have a chance to play,” says President of Dothan Rotary Club, Ronnie Dean.
Organizers are currently discussing ways to expand the park in the future.
