Posted: 3:58 PM - You don't need a mountain, to enjoy the great outdoors. Tyson Carter has been mountain biking for seven years and says his love for the sport continues to grow. "You have to think as well as pedal your bike. It develops all of your senses, your coordination. It's not just going in a straight line, you're zipping up and down and all around and all the while keeping from crashing. So it's a physical as well as a mental challenge and I enjoy that,” Carter said.

UPDATE: 54 Year Old Rodney Hughes in the Houston County Jail for Making a Terrorist Threat

Updated: 11/21/2014 - Police took 54 year old Rodney Hughes in to custody around 12:45 p.m. on Friday after he made calls to the Cottonwood Police Department allegedly saying he wanted to shoot law enforcement officers and anyone who interfered with his plans. Cottonwood Police said the call from Hughes came in around 10:15 a.m. on Friday. They said he called from his home in Columbia.
