A drunk teenager fell like a rag doll from an escalator in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

The jaw-dropping 20-foot drop was caught on surveillance video.
But after seeing it, you may be shocked at how little he was hurt.

You don't remember anything? Um, no. (You don't remember what happened?) No.

That might be better because the... Video shows shane o'malley drunk as a skunk going up an escalator and then falling to a concrete floor before. It was scary.

"We had been to a concert -- the Dispatch concert. (Oh OK.) We were drinking before the concert and in the concert and then I obviously got too drunk and irresponsible."

(Does he know how lucky he is?) I'm not sure, I've been telling him how lucky he is, but he doesn't remember much about the fall.

For a few long minutes shane's friends could do virtually nothing. It's hard to believe that his worst injury is a broken elbow.

My back's killing me, it might be just wicked stiff. It's making it really difficult to get around. (Probably the impact of the fall.) Yeah. (What's the message for kids your age?)

Don't do it, don't drink, you might appear to have a good time but but it can easily get out of control.

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority does not plan to file charges against O'Malley.

So what's next for him?

Well, the recent high school graduate says he's going to college in the fall, where he'll study nursing.
