A Frenchman broke a world record by executing a 29 metres (95 feet) long jump on roller-skates on Saturday (July 2).
Three times world champion, 35-year-old Taig Khris, jumped in front of Paris' icon monument, the Sacre Coeur Basilica.
Thousands of people had gathered to see Khris roll down a launch pad and leap over 29 metres (95 feet), beating the previous world record of 24 metres (79 feet) held by an American, and landing on a giant airbag at the bottom of the picturesque Montmartre hill.
Khris, pushed by an enthusiast crowd, even performed a front flip.
The athlete had already beaten a world record in 2010 by executing the highest jump off the first floor of the Eiffel tower.
