Who ordered this!
A nearly six-foot Burmese Python was found slithering around the back of a fast food restaurant outside Cincinnati.
Courtis Fuller has the details.
It was pretty impressive and I was a little surprised and curious who had lost their pet.
It was anything but a typical day for ian simon when he heard what was lurking in this dumpster next to his business here on Beechmont.
One of the local sheriffs stops in and taps me on the shoulder and asked if we have a box I said what for he said we have a big snake out in the parking lot.
How big you say?
Sure enough there was a 6 foot python lying on the ground.
The Rumpke driver had him pinned down with a broom and the snake had wrapped around the broom.
Sheriff deputies get all types of calls, this is one that will go into the memorable file.
Well now I'm glad I watched several episodes of the "Crocodile Hunter."
I've handled wild animals before but this guy was rather sluggish. When I got there I asked for cardboard box, I was really concerned about the animal's welfare.
They are not sure how the snake got here...
No one was harmed though.
Unfortunately, what happens here is people buy animals like this that are wild animals and they become too difficult to care of so they turn them loose or they put them in the garbage or do whatever.
It could have wrapped around an adult and strangled an adult.
The snake is fine.
The S-P-C-A placed the python in temporary care
