Rapper Escapes Gunfire

Rapper "Rick Ross" had a brush with death Monday morning.

Fort Lauderdale police say Ross, whose real name is William Roberts, was driving a 2011 Rolls Royce when someone began shooting at him and his passenger.

The rapper tried to drive away when he lost control and crashed the luxury car into an apartment building.

No one was hurt but bullets ripped into several nearby businesses.

The suspect fled the scene.
