The owner of Roscoe', Illinois' historic Auto Attractions says the top of J-F-K's 45th birthday cake is now on display.... Complete with the presidential seal.
Wayne Lensing purchased the unusual item back in 2010 for 65-hundred dollars.
Though his museum is filled with quirky artifacts... Lensing says he has a soft spot for Kennedy-related items.
This cake was made for Kennedy’s 45th birthday party May 29th, 1962.
That was the party in which Marilyn Monroe sang happy birthday to the president.
The top of the cake was given to a member of J-F-K's security team.
Patrick Larkin owned it until two years ago, when he put it up for auction and lensing was the top bidder, taking the cake for about 65-hundred dollars.
Lensing waited two years before putting it on display at his museum.
J-F-K would have turned 95 today.
