A Maryland family is celebrating 19 years of receiving straight A's in middle school.
It was eighth-grader Richie Kogut who sealed the deal at graduation last week.
Richie is the youngest of the six Kogut kids.
Since 1993, all six of the children went through Marley Middle School in Glen Burnie on the honor roll.
Mom shared the family's secret weapon to straight A's.
"We are very big on reading in our family. We read all the time. I read to my kids every night. My oldest would bring me a stack of like 40 books, and I'd fall asleep reading to him."
Lots of reading along with hard work, humility and a healthy dose of sibling rivalry.
