One lady from Utah hit the "Century Club" in style.
Erna Huck is 100-years-young.....and she can be seen at her local gym at least twice a week.
She's an inspiration to the other whippersnappers that she exercises with.
Erna won't be slowing down any time soon.
Erna Huck 100 In Motion.
Stepping in time, where much younger lives track progress just feet away.
"You'd never know she was 100."
"I think it's amazing. It's amazing."
Her Weekly Gym Regimine....
"Usually two times, but sometimes I make it three times. Walking and the treadmill, for 20, 25 minutes. Then I go in the swimming pool. Swimmercize, do exercise in the water."
"How's the water?"
"Very good. Just the right temperature. Not too warm, not too cold."
"Do you feel sore the next day?"
"No, no. I don't feel sore."
"Lifeguards who watch Erna Huck while Erna is in the water here at the Holladay Lions Rec Pool, maybe be young enough to be her great-grandchildren, or even perhaps, her great-great-grandchildren."
"Most people are not active enough. You have to be active."
Action from childhood....to hiking and biking with her late husband...to skiing past 90.
"I don't feel different than I felt 20 years ago. I don't have the strength anymore, I have to rest more, but otherwise, I don't see any change."
"What do you say to people who are much younger than you, who say
'My back hurts....my knees hurt....my shoulder hurts, I can't exercise.'"
"I can not understand it."
Huck just had her drivers' license renewed by Utah's D-M-V.....which means she's able to drive for the next five years.
