A Wiregrass car dealership donates to help families affected by a life-changing genetic disorder.
The Dothan organization F.R.I.E.N.D.S. received a $10,000 check today from Toyota of Dothan and Toyota USA. The money will be used to provide support for families with down syndrome.
"This is a part of the community, this is a part of the charitable aspect to what we do. This is just one of the things that we do here at Toyota of Dothan but we're pleased that we've been able to team up with Toyota and Southeast Toyota can be able to combine these funds to help all of the causes. But in this case special F.R.I.E.N.D.S," said Carey Slay.
Every year friends has a walk to provide awareness. This year it will be in October 11th at landmark park.
