Sega Announces Remake of Classic Disney “Mickey” Video Game

First, the Ducktales game for the original Nintendo was announced for remastering, and now another classic game from the previous decades of gaming is being remade.

Sega, together with Disney, is working on a full “re-imagining” of the 1990 game “Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse.” That game was originally released on the Sega Genesis.

It was a platforming adventure game where the player controlled Mickey Mouse through a wide variety of worlds.

This new version, which will feature re-mastered graphics and new elements of gameplay, will be released as a downloadable title for X-Box Live, the Playstation Network, and Windows PC. The current release timeframe is the summer of this year.
