A Savannah-based artist was in town today creating A "Living Wall" project.
It is a new mural located in Porter Park on North Foster Street. Troy Wandzel is committed to painting from life and this new mural portrays the many faces of Dothan. Wandzel is the first contemporary artist to participate in this new initiative started by the group Murals of the Wiregrass.
"This town needed a spark or wanted a spark and I am just doing my little part to sort of help that out. The idea is to just paint people as they're coming by and passing by," said Wandzel.
More of Wandzel's work is available in the Wiregrass Museum of Art. They are displaying his exhibition entitled "Storm."
