Will virtual reality finally become a reality in the video game industry?
Decades after VR visors were first introduced, the much improved, less bulky technology is making a comeback at the game developer’s conference in San Francisco.

Sony unveiled its Project Morpheus 3D headset prototype which connects to the PS4 and its controllers.

The Oculus Rift headset introduced at the last GDC released a new kit to give developers the tools to make fully immersive PC games for the device.

Even small start-ups are launching into the virtual reality world, like the makers of a prototype which creates games using features from the real world.

But not all developers are convinced that virtual reality will catch on.
These VR headsets are still in the development stage and likely won't be available to consumers until next year.
