Gas Prices Fall In Time for Holiday Travel

As millions of Americans get set to take to the roads for holiday travel, the price of gasoline is falling.

As of Wednesday, December 19th, 2012, the national average was $3.23 a gallon. 

In our area, Alabama’s gas averages at $3.07 a gallon, although several stations in Dothanare below 3 dollars.  

In Georgia, the average is $3.14, and it's around $3.24 a gallon down in Florida.

Prices at the pump dropped 4 cents over the weekend to an average of $3.25 a gallon, the lowest level in almost a year.
