Forbes Names 100 Most Powerful Women in the World

Forbes is out with its list of the 100 most powerful women in the world.

It features nine heads of state, including German Chancellor Angela Merkel in the top spot.

New Federal Reserve chair Janet Yellen is second.

General Motors' new CEO Mary Barra comes in at seven and is featured on the cover of the magazine. She's GM's first female CEO and is dealing with the fallout from the company's massive recall.

Hillary Clinton, First Lady Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey also made the top 15 on the most powerful list.
