As it will get really hot again this summer, we were looking for some nice “Summer-Gadgets” that help you to enjoy the sun. We tested a loudspeaker-duck and a water resistant mobile phone cover, with which your I-Phone or Galaxy should also work as an underwater camera. The so called Lifeproof-Cover is not really cheap – it costs $80 to $100 dollars (http://www.lifeproof.com) – but it is a lot what you can do with it – it´s cogent although it´s only available for Apple- and Samsung-Smartphones yet.
The “iDuck” promises music enjoyment in the pool. The tool considers of a transmitter, which can be connected with an MP3-player and the duck as a loud speaker, which too offers an inbuilt radio. The duck costs around $30 dollars (www.thinkgeek.com). Because of the bad sound it´s not cogent for Marie and Fabian, who tested both items for us.
