The latest version of the popular Angry Birds gaming franchise comes to consoles, this time with a Star Wars twist.
On Thursday, Rovio, the company behind the smash-hit game Angry Birds announced that together with Activision, they would bring Angry Birds Star Wars to consoles.
The game has already been a hit on cell phones and tablets, with its combination of the popular puzzler with the iconic science fiction franchise.
Releasing on October 29th, 2013, Angry Birds Star Wars will be released on the Microsoft X-Box 360, Sony Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, and Nintendo Wii U home consoles. Portable gamers will also be able to purchase the game on the Playstation Vita and the Nintendo 3DS.
This release will feature high-definition graphics on home consoles, unlockable content, and 20 exclusive levels in addition to the 200 levels already found in the original app release.
