New Brockton is cracking down on eyesores. Town council members voted to spend $2,500 to remove an old convenience store.

Built in the 1970s as a Junior Food Store, the building has been abandoned for more than 20years.

It's located across the street from town hall and considered a public nuisance.

Several residents say it's a breeding ground for snakes and rodents.
