Insurance giant A.I.G. is thanking the American people for the nearly 200-billion dollar bailout it received.
But, the company also wants taxpayers to know the U-S Treasury made a multi-billion dollar profit on the loan.
According to a new "Thank You America" ad campaign, the government netted more than 20-billion dollars from the deal.
A.I.G. said the ads present a positive portrait of the company that is focused on helping American communities rebuild.
TV spots supporting the campaign are set to run the next two weeks.
