Dothan Organization Receives Grant to Help High School Dropouts

Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley awarded a Dothan organization funds to help high school dropouts.

The Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs grant will help the Alfred Saliba Center's "Career Design for Youth Program".

The money will help students who enroll, earn a GED, give access to internships and career opportunities.

The grant is nearly $140,000. Center Officials expect 50 participants in the program over the next year.
