A meat and two veggie plate is among the offerings at Homespun in Sugar Hill.
New research shows children serve themselves larger portions when they use larger plates.
The study -published in the journal Pediatrics –found that children ate at least half of the food on their plates consuming more calories than necessary.
The first graders who were part of the study also tended to serve themselves more fruit, but not vegetables.
