All Star Sports Week to Begin on July 8th

The best high school players in the state will converge on Montgomery in just a few days for All Star Sports Week. North will battle South for bragging rights in baseball, soccer, softball, basketball, volleyball and football.

All Star Sports Week begins on Sunday, July 8th with practices for several teams. The first game will be played on Monday, when North faces South at the All Star Baseball Game.

A pair of local players will suit up for the South squad, in G.W. Long outfielder Trey Walding and Brantley outfielder Alex Prescott. The All-Star Baseball Game will be played on Monday night at 4 p.m. at Paterson Field.

The softball game and soccer matches will be played on Tuesday.
