ATLANTA, GA - Georgia Governor Nathan Deal has signed the state's budget into law.
The $19.2 billion budget reflects his administration's priorities and the state's modest revenue gains.
It slightly increased funding for education and includes funds to support reforms to the criminal justice system.
The budget grows state spending by less than $1 billion over fiscal year 2012. It goes into effect July 1, 2012.
