One person is dead and another is in critical condition after a car crash in Coffee County today.
This was the scene along highway 84 outside of Elba shortly after ten o'clock this morning.
Authorities say a log truck collided with a jeep.
A coroner pronounced the woman driving the jeep dead at the scene.
Her child passenger was taken to a Dothan hospital in critical condition.
Police have not released their names.
The log truck driver was treated and released.
