(AP) -- St. Louis became the first NHL team to reach 100 points with a 3-1 win over Tampa Bay. Jaroslav Halak (YAR'-oh-slahv huh-LAHK') stopped 22 shots including a close-in save on NHL scoring leader Steven Stamkos in the first period. Jaden Schwartz scored his first NHL goal for the Blues.

-- Matt Cooke scored two goals and Sidney Crosby added three assists to lead the streaking Penguins to a 5-2 win over New Jersey. Pittsburgh earned its 11th straight win, to pull within two points of the Rangers for the Eastern Conference lead.
-- Colorado rookie Gabriel Landeskog (LAN'-des-kahg) broke a second-period tie and the Avalanche went on to beat the New York Rangers 3-1. Semyon Varlamov (var-LAH'-mawf) made 41 to hand their Rangers their fifth loss in seven games.
-- Tyler Seguin (SAY'-gihn) scored in regulation and the shootout to lift Boston to a 3-2 win over Philadelphia. Bruins goalie Tim Thomas improved to 6-0 in shootouts this season.
-- Dmitry Kulikov (KOO'-lih-kawf) returned from a knee injury and scored the winning shootout goal as Florida beat Buffalo 3-2. The Panthers won despite getting just four shots on goal in the first period and just one in the third period and overtime combined.
-- Phil Kessel had a goal and an assist and James Reimer made 29 saves to help Toronto beat Ottawa 3-1.
-- Tim Brent and Brandon Sutter scored in a 48-second span of the third period and the Carolina Hurricanes rallied past the Minnesota Wild 5-3.
