Enterprise Shooting Incident

Gunfire roared through a neighborhood off of Rucker Boulevard in Enterprise. It started with a domestic violence call at a manufactured home in the Dogwood Acres Trailer Park on Dale County Road 124 at four o'clock Saturday morning. Police say as responding officers approached the front door of the trailer, the suspect swung the door open and pointed a handgun at the officers. Police fired striking the man twice in the hip.
The unnamed suspect underwent surgery at an area hospital and is expected to recover. One officer was treated for a laceration to his elbow. Since the shooting involved a policeman, it's under investigation by the Alabama Bureau of Investigations which is standard procedure...
