UPDATE: Kenneth Wood has been apprehended in Brevard County, Florida.
Wood engaged police in a standoff for 8 hours.

Tonight, local authorities say the store clerks here were very "lucky" that they were not injured in the hold-ups'. The suspect reportedly has a history of violence.
A short time later, he held up a convenience store in nearby Esto, Florida. Wood is also now tied to an armed robbery in Perry, Florida from earlier this morning. He was driving a stolen pick-up truck from Covington County which he left. Authorities advise store clerks not to resist an armed gunman demanding cash…
