Fifth Annual Gem and Mineral Show in Wiregrass

People who shared a common interest in rocks, minerals, and gems made their way to Dothan today.

The fifth annual Gem and Mineral Show had everything from gemstones to fossils, minerals, and finished jewelry.

An hourly drawing, door prizes, and a silent auction also kept everyone busy.

There were also demonstrations of cutting and polishing gemstones.

Dothan Gem and Mineral Club member Arnie Lambert said, "We have a lot of minerals, fossils, finished jewelry, a lot of the crafts that people have made for themselves. It's just a variety of things that interest the people in the hobby and hopefully in the public too."

Dothan Gem and Mineral Club members, and vendors from all over the country host this event every year.
