FORT RUCKER, Ala. (AP) - Fort Rucker officials say a 21-year-old military student from Singapore has died from injuries sustained in a car wreck near DeFuniak Springs, Fla.
The Dothan Eagle reports that Fort Rucker officials say in a statement that Lt. Zhi Hao Chee and two other Singapore students had been attending rotary flight training at Fort Rucker. They say he was returning from a field studies program at Naval Air Station Pensacola when the wreck occurred on Sunday.
They say the other two students also were injured in the accident, with one released from the hospital and the other in stable condition.
