Wiregrass Chapter of American Red Cross Helping Fire Victims

Many fires destroyed homes in the Wiregrass at the end of 2013 and into 2014. That is where Susan Holmes and her staff are stepping in. The Wiregrass Chapter of The American Red Cross are encouraging residents to sign up for homeowner's or renter's insurance because of the large amount of cases with people who did not have it.

Holmes says just within a four-month period there were 36 fires in the area. On Friday a fire destroyed a home in Wicksburg as well.
