Soldiers Take Home Awards after Two Days of Intense Competition

FORT RUCKER -- More than 20 soldiers spent 48 hours this week testing their endurance and maintenance skills during the NCO/Soldier of the Year Competition.

Soldier of the year was awarded to PFC Eddie Gelineau, NCO of the year went to Sgt. James Old and Brandon Woodsome took home AIT Platoon Sergeant of the year.

The winners received prizes from a number of community organizations including gift certificates, trophies, cash award and a reservation to air assault school at Fort Campbell.
