The Circle City is looking at providing more recreational facilities and options. The city Commission will take a vote on August 5 deciding to move forward or hault on three major projects.

The proposed projects are the construction of Jim Oates Park, which will be dedicated to softball and baseball; a wellness pool at Westgate Park; and a new pool at the Andrew Belle Community Center.

Mayor Mike Schmitz says to be able to tackler larger issues, the city must ensure the community is healthy and happy.
