A third woman charged in connection with the kidnapping of a 6-year-old Kemper County girl has been denied bond.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Keith Ball ruled Friday that 25-year-old Shamarius Ruffin should be jailed until a grand jury meets.
He earlier ordered Jesse Mae Brown Pollard and Wanda Dancy held.
The three are charged with kidnapping Jashayla Hopson from East Kemper Elementary School in Scooba April 30.
Federal authorities charge Ruffin went into the school to retrieve the girl at Pollard's request.
Also Thursday, Ball granted a defense request that Pollard, of Northport, Ala., undergo a psychiatric exam.
Investigators say Hopson was taken to Alabama by Pollard where they spent the night of April 30 in a hotel.
The girl was dropped off, unharmed, on a Mississippi road the next morning.
